A Message From Craig Hanson

It has been great reconnecting with the Brothers of Kappa Beta, primarily through the invaluable and long-standing efforts of Tom Booker to host the annual "Booker Open" golf outing every year in Sullivan on the Saturday of the Father's Day weekend. Kudos, too, to Dirk McCullum and the brothers who have gathered for an annual re-enactment of the canoe trip. I'm gonna make one of those one of these days. Finally, many thanks to Jim Herter for his relentless efforts to get us reunited via a focused recolonization effort, fund raising, a re-energized Homecoming event, and general communications (recolonization-related conference calls, Facebook, and most recently the kskbalumni.org web site). The actions of these brothers, and the less-visible activities of many others, as well as the demonstrated interest by all Brothers who have attended these events, or at least contacted us to let us know you're still with us, speaks to the blessing that our shared experience at 1454 South Center St. continues to give us. AEKDB!

Kappa Sigma Returns To Indiana State University

Kappa Sigma Fraternity-Kappa Beta Chapter will return to Indiana State University after a 32-year absence. A long process tested the mettle of many Brothers who were steadfast in the pursuit to see the return of our Chapter.

We have been given approval by Kappa Sigma National and President Bradley of Indiana State University to commence recruitment on November 1st. Official bids can be offered when the students return in mid January for Spring 2017 semester.

Kappa Sigma National and the Kappa Sigma-Kappa Beta Alumni Leadership Team encourages all Kappa Beta Brothers to refer any current ISU underclassmen who are not affiliated with an existing fraternity or high school gentleman that meets the criteria to the recruitment team. This will ensure that the colony is receiving the best possible candidates.
