Brothers of Kappa Sigma;

                                                                                                                                     September 8, 2016

It has been a long road back to where we, this band of Brothers of Kappa Sigma Fraternity Kappa-Beta Chapter, began. One undeniable fact is that the time that has passed has been long, but the wait is over.
The new pledges and initiates will renew our beloved Chapter and serve the proud tradition of Kappa Sigma being the preeminent fraternity that all others look up to and modeled their fraternity after. These new Kappa Sigma Brothers will form their own legacy in our proud tradition.
One thing is for certain: it's a new time in a changing world. The Kappa Sigma Fraternity is dedicated to ensuring that all Brothers are held to the highest standards. These standards are reflected in the Four Pillars of Our fraternity: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service.
We invite each of you to review the following KAPPA SIGMA FRATERNITY CODE OF CONDUCT to gain an understanding of the way that all Kappa Sigma men will need to represent themselves:
Membership in Kappa Sigma is a privilege. Each member, pledge or initiate, undergraduate and alumnus, is bound by this Code of Conduct.

  • Each member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity is responsible for seeing that he:

  • Acts as a gentleman, setting an example of moral behavior;

  • Conducts himself as a good student, good neighbor, and good citizen;

  • Obeys the laws, rules and regulations of his country, state or province, city and county, and college or university;

  • Understands and abides by the Constitution, By-Laws and Rules of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, including the Standards of Conduct, the acts and resolutions of Grand Conclaves, and his chapter’s by-laws; and Does not engage in, permit or tolerate hazing, or the unlawful use of alcohol or possession of controlled substances; When the Fraternity finds that any member fails or refuses to abide by this Code of Conduct, the Fraternity may take such actions as permitted in the Constitution, By-Laws and Rules of Kappa Sigma
